quicko: talk like a pirate day
Ahoy me hearties!! Today be the day fer talkin' like pirates, ye scurvy scallywags. Th' folk down under don't be so big on it as th' Yanks, but Cap'n Calico Bess 'ere did what she could to bring a bit o piracy to these parts. Arrr!!

I remembered my eye-patch, hoop ear-ring and "Solway Lass" pirate bandanna but was pretty poor on actually talking like a pirate. Oops, maybe next year I'll get them both rather than one or the other.
Mind you, in my defence, it's hard to professionally answer the phone at work (public service) when talking like a pirate.
