about me

I've loved to write since I was little.  I really don't know when I learned I loved travel, though.  I think my parents are still trying to figure out where they went wrong that I could have so much enthusiasm about living so far away from home.  I first went abroad to Germany when I was 16 for a three-week stint I didn't terribly enjoy.  My sophomore year at Calvin, though, I spent a semester living in London and fell madly in love with it.  Immediately after graduating I moved back to London for six months.  I returned to Boston for nearly a year, but discovered the travel bug's bite doesn't just disappear.  I found myself in Sydney, and have been even more madly in love ever since.
