quicko: rissoles
My Bible study insists I post this: rissoles, it seems, are the Australian term for the meat patty of a hamburger. Evidently they're very Australian. And go well, once cooked, with beetroot (AKA beets).

So do they ever use the term hamburger? Do they know what you mean when you use that term? Is a rissole in a bun then called a hamburger?
"Yeah, but it's what you do with them."
Rissoles are thicker and chunkier than hamburger patties, which we also have.
