quicko: the rugby
So the rugby is on again this weekend, and it's the Grand Final, which is, I am told, a really, really, really big deal. Particularly because Manly is playing in it and they are going to beat whoever it is they're playing, which I think might be New Zealand? I'm not really sure, but they're going to beat them.

As I discovered this past week being in Melbourne - not as big a deal as the AFL grand final; Victorians are just plain mad - who was fit, who was a new and relatively inexperienced player, what they ate for breakfast...were the lead stories on the news, as opposed to the 4 or 5 house fires in one day type stories.
I caught the ferry Friday afternoon and saw this banner! :0) I was expecting to see hoards of Manly supporters roaming about but it was all pretty quiet!
