quicko: wouldn't say no to
I imagine we use this too, but I've been hearing it a lot in Sydney these days: "Wouldn't say no to a lamington," for instance. It's the nice way of saying "YES, PLEASE!!! RIGHT NOW!!!" without coming across quite so over-eager.

It sounds sort of funny that you say you have heard this a lot in Sydney lately, and that we don't necessarily use it that much in America, when you have not been in America for over a year, and have lived exclusively in Sydney during that time. Of course you would be hearing it in Sydney if it was being used there, and not in America, whether or not we were saying it.
