quicko: the wattle
Is the national floral emblem. I haven't got a clue what they look like, but I hear they're green and gold.

Hi lovely KIm! Happy birthday party for today - as I don't think it's your official birthday (I think that's correct). A wattle is indeed yellow (fuzzy round bally things all together) with long green leaves - I can show you one at school if you like!
Also, I'm not sure if this is do-able for your site as your blog is pretty specific content wise but I've tagged you! You'll need to read the instructions at my blog.
Kim's real birthday is February 9.
