If I were to cook something like pasta, I would boil the kettle (because it's faster and more energy efficient) and use that water in the saucepan (basically pre-heat the water being poured onto the pasta). Now, we know you personally avoid cooking, so what would your compatriots do? Pour room temperature water into the saucepan and boil that direct even though it's less efficient?
And how do they make tea? Or do they just not drink it? (I get the impression it's less popular than coffee over there.)
Where did you find such a dashing model in Sydney Kimbo! Is he single? LOL!
