quicko: games

I feel like I've already mentioned this, but I couldn't find where, so here goes:

Australians have their own versions of games -- not just Monopoly, but Trivial Pursuit, etc. They become Australia themed and have many sudden references to those elusive "Northern Hemisphere" places.

That's because in our country, the correct answer to a question like "Who played reserve pitcher for the New York Yankees in the 1976 world series?" is "Who cares?". And I'd much rather have a hotel on Pitt St than on Pall Mall any day of the week.

Yeah, and you just happened to know that the Yankees were in the 1976 World Series? Which they just happened to lose to the Cincinnati Reds ...
