Today is Territory Day!
I'm not sure most Australians are aware of this, (it's just occurred to me I'm not even sure that Ohio has a state day, let alone when it is ... though I do know it became a state in 1803 ...) but July 1 is the day the Northern Territory celebrates as, I think, it's birthday. There's lots of fireworks and fun and I just narrowly missed being there this year. Maybe next.
