Is that a tax for things purchased on that day? And Sunday has additional taxes, too?
Depending on the award they work under, some employees can be paid up to 2.5 times their normal hourly rate for working on public holidays and Sundays. Some employers cover this cost by charging the customer more (user pays); others cover it by amortising it and building it into their prices over the entire budget period.
